What is reverse osmosis?
Reverse osmosis is the process through which a water flow with a lower concentration of mineral salts is achieved thanks to the pressure exerted on the semipermeable membrane of the water with a higher concentration, thus overcoming the natural tendency and flow of the system.
The untreated water can pass through the membrane pores (osmotized water), while the remaining water (water with a high mineral concentration) is diverted to the drain. It is produced through a physical system, without the use of chemicals, making it an environmentally friendly system.
